David Heyn & Adiel Anghie to visit Toronto for 30th Anniversary Joe-Pete Match

Sri Lanka cricket fans are awaiting the arrival of the Prince of Batsmen – DAVID HEYN who will be David Heyn - Schoolvisiting Toronto in conjunction with the 30th anniversary celebrations of the joint Josephian-Peterite Alumni Association of Canada. He will be Chief Guest at the 30th encounter between the Josephians & Peterites in the ICC approved King City Grounds in Toronto. JPAA Canada president Upali Obeyesekere extended an invitation to David that was accepted and now it is a reality that the sensational Peterite captain and former Sri Lanka cricketer will meet his school mates and other cricketers from Sri Lanka during his 12 day stay in Toronto. An invitation was also extended to DR. ADIEL ANGHIE, another brilliant sports icon from the school by the canal. Anghie captained the Peterites in cricket and rugby and went on to play for the University of Colombo before immigrating to the United States where he lives now.

A Fellowship Nite is organized by JPAA Canada to fete David Heyn and Dr. Adiel Anghie as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of this association, which has the proud record of been the first Sri Lanka School Alumni to be formed in Canada, in 1984. FELLOWSHIP FLYER JPAA
