About Us

This website is dedicated to the pursuits of St. Joseph's College and St. Peter's College and its alumni. Thousands of students have passed through the hallowed hallways of these two exceptional Roman Catholic schools. Our mission is to trace the history of the two schools and to profile its alumni who have excelled in numerous fields of endeavour such as Academics, Sports, Medicine, Law, Engineering, Politics, Government, etc., etc. Our aim is to have a concise database of those who have left us to the world beyond. We will post obituaries and tributes of those who have left us to be with god.

St. Joseph's College was established in 1896 while St. Peter's College followed 26 years later in 1922. The two schools have grown in stature ever since and produced many high profile Sri Lankans. Besides, both schools have also excelled in sports and counts many of its products who represented the country nationally in many sports such as Cricket, Rugby, Athletics, Basketball, etc.

Past students have made an indelible mark on the landscape of both schools. This site will post news of the Old Boys' Union of both SJC and SPC in addition to news of other organizations around the world. They have showed strength and commitment in organizing interesting events with the concurrence of the two rectors.
