A strong Josephian team led by former Vice Captain of the Canadian Team Brian Rajadurai beat a formidable Antonian team by 26 runs to win the coveted SQ Championship Trophy for the second time in succession. Armed with a few players who have represented Canada in the last decade, the Josephians looked a winning team from the beginning. Skipper Brian Rajadurai, Rajive Benedict, P. Ravishankar, Arvind Kandappa, Trevins & Gavin Bastiampillai and Ray Lord formed the front line players who steered their team to a win against the Benedictines in the preliminary round and against the Antonians in the finals.
